AmCham Ukraine Leadership participated in meetings of the National Council on Anticorruption Policy and the National Reforms Council

On 28 September the President of the American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine, Andy Hunder, took part in the meeting of the National Council on Anticorruption Policy under the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky. A crucial pre-condition to inspiring investor confidence so as to put significant capital into Ukraine is the rule of law and zero tolerance for corruption and bribery. No-one should be exempt or above the law. The business community calls to ensure the independence and effective operation of the system of specialized anti-corruption bodies.

On 29 September the President of the American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine, Andy Hunder, together with Vice President Tetyana Prokopchuk, delivered the voice of business at the meeting of the National Reforms Council within the framework of President Zelensky’s working trip to Vinnytsia Region. There were three reforms of utmost importance for AmCham Ukraine member companies on the agenda. In particular, the participants discussed the reform of the State Architectural and Construction Inspectorate and building control permits, issues on connecting to the electricity grid, and subsoil use.
