The Centre for Corporate Social Responsibility Development and PocketBook have awarded the best readers and authors within the Readers’ Choice Award, the contest for the best non-financial report by a company. General partner of the contest – PocketBook.

The Centre for CSR Development is organizing the Readers’ Choice Award for the second time, and aims to draw stakeholders’ attention to non-financial reporting and motivate companies to raise the quality of content and form of their reports.

This year, 482 registered readers participated in voting for the best non-financial report and determined three most interesting reports – Kyivstar, ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih, System Capital Management.

The three most attentive readers and commentators of non-financial reports received an electronic book PocketBook from the general partner of the contest. The second-time winner of the readers’ contest, a teacher at the NTU KPI, Alla Syngaivska, noted: “I have read all reports and can state that the quality of non-financial reports, compared to the last year, has risen greatly – meaningfully and by appearance. I think that the Readers’ Choice Award played an important role in this”.

“The non-financial reports contest is firstly, the possibility to acquaint the public with the concept of CSR reporting and raise the quality of companies’ non-financial reports. So, the reports that were awarded – are the result of evaluation by the ordinary visitors – companies’ employees, partners, teachers, other representatives of business. We congratulate the winners with such outstanding recognition from society. And, in order to raise the level of comments, the Centre for CSR Development is beginning a monthly expert evaluation of company reports”, – Maryna Saprykina, head of Centre for CSR Development.

“PocketBook is sure that a person actively gains knowledge, develops and helps others to develop. We are sure that comments by active readers give companies good feedback and become a guide for improving subsequent reports. For its part, our products will help winners to read more and more comfortably, always and everywhere”, – Veronika Yankovska, company representative.
