Kinstellar announced promotion of Iryna Nikolayevska to partner

As part of Kinstellar’s announcement of 2020 promotions, the firm is delighted to announce the promotion of Iryna Nikolayevska to partner in the Kyiv office.

Iryna is a partner and the head of the Corporate/M&A and Compliance, Risk & Sensitive Investigations practices in Kinstellar’s Kyiv office. Her practice focuses on representing local and international clients (including institutional and strategic investors, private and public companies) in their cross-border mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, private equity investments, divestitures, assets transfers, restructurings, general corporate and employment matters. Iryna also has considerable experience in equity capital markets transactions and secondary issues, corporate governance and executive compensation matters. Her industry expertise includes agriculture, aviation, banks and financial institutions, chemicals, FMCG, infrastructure, IT / telecommunications, oil & gas, pharmaceuticals, and real estate, among others.

Iryna also focuses on corporate compliance, internal investigations, anti-money laundering, sanctions and data protection matters. She acts on behalf of clients in internal investigations, in particular regarding compliance with anti-corruption legislation. Iryna advises multinational clients on risk assessment, compliance due diligence, auditing internal compliance systems, establishing, enhancing and localisation of compliance programmes. She also advises board members, executives and CCOs on a wide range of topics, such as conflict of interest, submission of e-declarations, anti-bribery obligations and duties of management, etc. Her industry expertise in compliance area includes banks and financial institutions, chemicals, construction and construction materials, FMCG, professional services, energy, private equity and pharmaceuticals.

Iryna joined Kinstellar as a Counsel with the launch of the firm’s Kyiv office in 2016. Prior to joining Kinstellar she worked for major international and local law firms and also served as in-house counsel with leading Ukrainian financial and industrial groups.
