Vasil Kisil & Partners represented Shell Exploration

Vasil Kisil & Partners represented Shell Exploration & Production Ukraine Investments (IV) B.V., the investor and operator under the Production Sharing Agreement for hydrocarbons to be produced at the Yuzivsk field, in a tax dispute. The notifications of the tax authorities' refusal to grant over UAH 10 million as automatic VAT refund have been recognized as unlawful and have been canceled according to the court decision that has entered into legal force.  Shell Exploration & Production Ukraine Investments (IV) B.V. was represented in court by leading associate Tetyana Matsyuk and associate Maksym Maksymov under the general guidance of VKP’s managing partner Andriy Stelmashchuk.
