In September 2015 lawyers of International Legal Center EUCON defended the interests of JSC Ukrrichflot before the High Administrative Court of Ukraine.

A claim was filed by JSC Ukrrichflot to the STI in Podilskiy district of the Center Department of State Fiscal Service in Kyiv on recognition as unlawful and cancellation of decisions and requirements to apply penalties for charging not duly accrued social security tax for the total amount of more than UAH 2.3 million. The Court of Cassation clarified the ambiguous interpretation of tax legislation in favor of the taxpayer.

The High Court also concluded that the tax claim was canceled on the basis of the decision of the tax authority, not automatically or according to the internal memorandum of the structural unit of the fiscal authority.

The Court of Cassation rejected the claim of the tax authority and left the decisions of the courts of previous instances unchanged.

Attorney, deputy head of litigation department of the ILC EUCON Volodymyr Bevza led by managing partner, attorney Yaroslav Romanchuk supported the case before the court.
