Asters announced the appointment of Oleksandr Voznyuk as a partner
Astersannounced that Oleksandr Voznyuk has been appointed partner in the firm’s сompetition and antitrust practice effective 1 January 2016.
Oleksandr Voznyuk joined Asters as counsel in March 2012 after 16 years at the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine, including serving as the AMCU Commissioner for 7 years. In this capacity he played an important role in development of Ukraine's modern competition laws and shaping enforcement practices, investigated high-profile cartel and abuse cases. Mr. Voznyuk’s area of expertise encompasses a wide variety of competition law issues, including cartels, abuse of dominance, restrictive and discriminatory practices, unfair competition, procedural aspects of AMCU’s activity, as well as public procurement issues. Oleksandr Voznyuk's notable representations and advising include acting for ACNielsen, BSH, Bunge, HIPP, Kronospan, Nissan, Oschadbank, Philip Morris, Siemens, Ukrtelecom, etc.
